Dr. Toan Nguyen

I was born and raised in Kansas where I practiced optometry for four years before finally joining my wife, Dr. Julie Phan, in sunny southern California. It was always our dream to own and operate a private optometry practice ever since we were both in optometry school. Our mission is to build a practice focused on delivering patient-centric care with an emphasis on exceptional individualized service.

I practice full-scope optometry with an emphasis on dry eye therapy and specialty contact lenses. With the rates of near-sightedness drastically increasing in the US and around the world, myopia control therapy is an area of particular interest in our practice.

Outside of the office, I enjoy playing basketball, traveling, and watching movies. I am blessed to be a first-time father to our son, Zachary, and now my world revolves around him. I am still learning all that California has to offer and am excited to be here in the community of San Bernardino. I'm definitely not in Kansas anymore!
