Dr. Julie Phan is a California native and an alum from UCLA (Go Bruins!) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. Dr. Phan earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, graduating as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. During her optometric education, Dr. Phan completed various externships to strengthen her skill in ocular disease, primary care and contact lenses.

While in school, she was highly active in her student council, serving as Vice President of her class for four consecutive years. Dr. Phan was awarded the Southwest Contact Lens Scholarship for her outstanding patient care and clinical excellence and was a teaching assistant for various courses.

She is a firm believer that patients deserve highly personalized, one-on-one care when they come in for their appointments. She takes the time to really get to know every patient on a personal level—which allows her to best address her patient's visual needs.

Dr. Phan has a special interest in children’s vision and is licensed to treat all ranges of eye diseases with a strong emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of Glaucoma.

On her free time, Dr. Phan enjoys spending her time hiking, camping, and traveling with her husband. She loves meeting new people and is excited to become an integral part of the San Bernardino community. She is accepting new patients and looks forward to taking care of you and your family.
